Swan 745 (Vinnie)
Here at Scharff's Farm, we raise St. Croix Hair Sheep, pullets (young laying hens), garden produce and vegetable bedding plants. We are located in rural west/central Washington, 22 miles west of Chehalis.
We have quality St. Croix Hair Sheep and garden bedding plants available in the spring. Our produce is available in the fall. Young pullets are always available.
We take pride in our diverse St. Croix sheep breeding program and consistently produce healthy, low maintenance sheep. We are members of the St. Croix Hair Sheep Breeder's Association and keep only USDA RR and QR breeding stock.
Our poultry specialty is producing Buff Orpington pullets, a large brown egg layer suitable for suburban families wanting to keep a few backyard hens. We guarantee 100% females unless you specifically request a rooster. Other standard breeds are also available, generally brown egg layers.
We grow bedding plants of probably every vegetable you can think of, from pumpkins, squash, melons and zucchini to various types of peppers, tomatoes, cabbage, corn and much more. Vegetable produce of as much variety as plants listed above is available in the fall. We do not use any pesticides or chemical fertilizer in our gardens or greenhouse.
